The brick-and-mortar store of CZU Shop will be closed from March.

Friday, February 28, is the last day when students and employees of CZU can shop at the brick-and-mortar CZU Shop in the university canteen. From Monday, March 3, 2025, it will be temporarily closed for several months until its premises are modified.

 

Promotional items bearing the ČZU logo will still be available for online orders at shop.czu.cz. The in-person pickup of ordered goods, previously provided by the brick-and-mortar store, is now available in the former maintenance building of ČZU between PEF and FTZ at the following times:

 

Tuesday: 12:00 - 14:00
Thursday: 12:00 - 14:00

 

 

After the reopening of the brick-and-mortar store, in addition to larger and more modern spaces and a wide range of traditional university and faculty promotional items, we can look forward to new products and new merch. Bottled wine or an assortment from the Food Pavilion will also be new. In the new store, the sale of products of university facilities, such as wine and beer, or products of students operating within the Point One business incubator will continue like before.

 

The "sustainable and ecological" principle governs the operation of the CZU shop. That, among other things, means to maintain packaging-free drugstore sales and expand the selection of food towards healthy nutrition. The reconstruction of the existing brick-and-mortar store will also follow this trend, and we can look forward to its new look in just a few months.
